Ceramic Art Street in Hanoi
The ceramic art street is striving to set Guinness record in 2010 with the world longest ceramic picture which are participated by international and Vietnamese artists.
Starting from An Duong gate to Van Kiep gate, Ceramic Art Street along the Red River has length of 6,018 meters with around 6,500 square meters.
The A1 section honours art heritage according to historic flow from Dong Son period to Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen dynasty. The first section plays an important role, honouring beauty in art heritage of forefathers through language of design pattern.

A2 section is built typical patterns in brocade and architectural decoration of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
A3 section is ceramic painting of Vietnamese and international children with the theme “Hanoi – City for peace”.
From A4 to A9 sections are modern ceramic paintings of Vietnamese and international artists. Each section is designed with a different style.

Together with Vietnamese artists, the Ceramic Art Street has received zealous response of international artists aiming to contribute a significant present to welcome the capital of 1000 years.
Apart from ceramic pictures by Danish artist Michael Geertsen and French artist Dominique de Miscault has appeared on the dyke of the Red River, artists from England, America, Holland, Italy, Turkey, Finland has registered to join the project. Embassies and cultural centers of countries in Hanoi have all highly evaluated the meaning of the project and actively supported it.
With the current progress of the project, the Ceramic Art Street is striving to set the world Guinness record in 2010 for the world longest ceramic picture with participation of a lot of Vietnamese and international artists.

Baked pottery is gathered at a workshop to put together at No.28, Hong Ha Street, Hanoi. At the workshop, artists, workers and volunteers put pottery together according to designed drafts
